Film Sessions

David Pastor

The Most Iconic Melodies Of Cinema Versioned By Jazz Quartet

ABOUT FORMATION

Film Sessions transforms the melodies of soundtracks that are part of the collective cinematographic memory to offer a show in which the viewer connects with the essence of music through change.

The repertoire thus becomes a sound projection that includes emblematic titles such as Chinatown, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Black Orpheus and Saturday night fever, among others.

Film Sessions seeks that the public be the protagonist, generating in it an encounter between the memory of the film and the connection with the current moment thanks to the re-harmonization of the compositions, rhythmic games, full of improvisational spaces with which the soundtracks acquire the character of the fleeting nature of jazz.
